Are EV charging stations available on-site?
Yes, electric vehicle (EV) charging stations are available for resident use. Please contact the leasing office for information regarding charging station locations, availability, and any applicable usage fees.
Residents using EV charging stations are expected to follow all posted guidelines and move their vehicles promptly once charging is complete to ensure fair access for all residents.
How do I get my packages/do you have package lockers?

Are BBQ grills available?
Yes, on the fourth floor pool deck.
Do you offer furnished apartments?
We do not offer furnished apartments. However, you may reach out to a local rental company to rent furniture from.
How do I setup my electricity?
You are required to set up electric prior to move in. Please contact Rocky Mountain Power at 888 221 - 7070 or go to www.rockymountainpower.com. If you have any issues getting this setup please contact the leasing office and a staff member can assist you.
Are washers and dryers available? Are they in the apartment? What kind?
Yes, we have full-size stackable washer/dryers
What kind of kitchen appliances are in the apartment? Are stoves gas or electric?
All units come equipped with full sized washer and dryers, refrigerator, dish washer, stove and microwave.
How can I apply for an apartment?
Our application is online and entirely paperless making the process smooth and efficient! From our website, click "Apply" in the top menu bar or by choosing a floor plan, specific apartment, then clicking "Apply Online". If you need assistance applying our on-site team is always happy to help!
What leasing options are available?
We offer 3 months up to 15 month leases
Does it cost anything to take a tour?
There is never a cost to take a tour! Our community team members are happy to show you around our beautiful community.
Do you offer individual leases & co-living?
We do not offer individual leases (by-the-bed) with co-living arrangements (individual leases with private rooms and shared commons spaces). We offer a single lease with everyone 18 years and older on the same lease.
Can I request a specific apartment & can an apartment be held?
You can request a specific apartment if it is available for rent. We are happy to hold the apartment up to 2 weeks for your convenience with the $299 admin fee.
Is there a security deposit and is any of it refundable?
The standard security deposit is $500
What is the renters' insurance policy?
We require renters' insurance with a liability protection minimum of $10,000 for the protection of our community. We also recommend you obtain personal renter's insurance for the protection of your belongings.
What fees will I need to pay if I have to break my lease?
We require a 60-day notice to vacate and a termination fee equal to 2 month's rent. Please defer to your lease for specific details on the termination policy.
What is the parking policy at The Residences at Sugar Alley?
We offer assigned gated garage parking for an additional monthly fee.
What is The Residences at Sugar Alley's pet policy?
We love furry friends! We require all pets to undergo an application and be added to your lease. We also require a pet deposit as well as a monthly pet rent per pet. Please talk to a team member for more information.
What is the smoking policy?
We are a no smoking community
What do you look for in the application?
We use a third-party, independent screening service that will review your credit history, rental history, and employment history. A background check will also be completed.
Can the apartment be sublet or listed on short-term rental platforms like AirBnB or VRBO?
Apartments cannot be sublet or listed on short-term rental platforms such as Airbnb or VRBO.
Is there public transportation nearby? What stop is closest?
Yes! The Fairmont S-Line stop is just around the corner from Sugar Alley. Head south on Highland Drive, and you’ll reach the stop on Sugarmont Drive—less than a 5-minute walk.
